In response to John sharp-article-a2955909
I am a relative of Sergeant Maurice Robert Walker. I have been researching the crash of Manchester bomber EM:M L7523 for the past 3 years. Through a series of lucky coincidences, I have gathered more information than I ever imagined. I would like to contribute in any way I can to add to this research, make contact with other relatives of the crew of flight EM:M L7523 Manchester bomber that crashed Jan. 14 1942, near cliff house farm E.Yorkshire, And supply a photo of my great uncle, Maurice Walker. I would also if Possible like photo of , Flight Sergeant Pilot Frederick E. Thomas, Flight Sergeant W.O./ Air Gunner Leonard Sieve and Sergeant Air Gunner John T. (Jack) Howe, it would be nice to put a face to each name. I have photos of the other 4 crew.

I read an editorial piece dated May 13, 2005, stating that John Van Puyenbroek has been located. What a day it would be to actually shake the hand of a former crew member, who on Nov 15, 1941, flew a Sortie over Emden with my great Uncle Maurice. Maurice was the tail gunner. I am hoping in the near future to visit England and the crash site, in memory of all the crew of EM:M L7523 207 sq., possibly meet with other crew relatives. I feel all on board that Manchester were as one, and their families are a part of our family. They fought and died so we could be free.

I live in Canada, just outside of the Toronto area, and would welcome your correspondence.
Although this happened long before I was born, the crew of EM:M L7523 are all heroes to me.
