My memories of the war was when i was sent with my brother and two sisters to Kirby . We all went to stay with different families. The family I was with were very good to me, ican remember going to school ,dinner time i would go into the town with sixpence and abasin for Faggots and Peas .Saturdays we went to the church hall for the silent films
