Opel cars and trucks were ported to Southampton. A haulier bought some and was advised ’all you’ll need is fan belts’. Never the less, he bought all the spares. In the ‘70s one of these trucks turned up at Exmouth. The Opel museum was searching for one but the welders torch beat them but the spares were intact.
