Me and "ADA"
This photo and caption were submitted to the People's War site by K. Helsby of Congleton Library on behalf of John Gibson and has been added to the site with his permission. The author fully understands the site's term and conditions.
We used to chalk the name of our sweetheart onto the bumper of our 10 tonne Mack trucks, then pose with the vehicle for a photo to send to her. Then the next chap along would erase the girl's name and chalk in his own sweetheart's name and have his photo taken!
