Mother dear
I was just a babe
Mercifully I do not remember or recall the day
her photograph
Shows her gorgeous and pretty
It was her crime
May she forver rest in peace for it

Soldier, Soldier
Far away from home
No woman to call his own
Power of the gun
Soldiers rape, murder, loot
Such behaviour is no crime at all
Merely just an act of war

Dad was angry
He did not restrain in his rage
He punched the soldier
When he saw his wife's body
Behind the door
Now the children have no mum or dad to call their own
