Grandma would pass the bottom of our street on her way to visit her daughter and grandchildren in Sheffield, she only lived a mile and half away from where we lived, but I cannot ever remember any of us getting a birthday or Christmas card from her. I was so bitter about the whole episode that when grandmother died, Terry and I did not attend her funeral.
