This is Pat Humphrey's story as told to Jacqui Brown. The author is aware of the implications of adding her story to the website.

The house at the rear of Pat's home was bombed and Bernard jumped over the wall to see if he could help the occupants. Unfortunately he jumped on a pitchfork and injured his legs.

The family of the house that was hit luckily were in the anderson shelter and were all safe and sound.
