I was going to my friend鈥檚 house for tea, there anti air raid guns at the top of Hogg Lane and as I passed them, they opened up. Then the siren went off and a bit of shrapnel, still alight, fell down my gym slip and onto my shoe. This didn鈥檛 hurt me, but it was too hot to collect.
