I can remember collecting savings stamps to help the War Effort, but these werenâ€™t stuck into books.

Theyâ€™d bring trailers of bombs along and weâ€™d lick our stamps and stick them on the bombs and write â€˜Hereâ€™s one for you Hitler!â€™ and draw cartoons of Hitler alongside
