I can remember collecting savings stamps to help the War Effort, but these weren’t stuck into books.

They’d bring trailers of bombs along and we’d lick our stamps and stick them on the bombs and write ‘Here’s one for you Hitler!’ and draw cartoons of Hitler alongside
