I remember when we used to go dancing at The Plaza on London Road, Derby. We girls used to start dancing. The Americans and Australians were there so we then danced with them and they would ask us to go for a drink or something to eat.

Weâ€™d say â€˜Yes pleaseâ€™, because our boys didnâ€™t have the money to do that!
