A Spitfire overshoots the runway on HMS Ravager

My father John Anthony Birtle served on the Idefatigable and always told stories about planes overshooting the runway. He must have got this picture from an official source as it says 'Crown Copyright reserve' on the back. I thought it was worth saving on the Web.
