My grandfather, Sid Holt, served on HMS Escort. His job was in ASDICS. He served on the ship between 10/09/37 to 12/01/39 when he left after 12 years of Naval service. He was called up again on 08/08/39 and served on the ship from the rescue of passengers from the Athenia through to the ship's sinking on 11/07/40. He was based at HMS Nimrod after the 11/07/40. I am interested in finding anyone who served on the ship or base and may be new my grandfather. I have a photo of about 6 men on board the ship and would like to maybe put names to faces
