My husband came home, back to Liverpool, and took me to Colwyn Bay. That鈥檚 where I was in the May Blitz, and we used to see the German planes flying over us. I worked in Ross-On-Sea, that鈥檚 between Colwyn Bay and Llandudano. I worked for the Ministry of Defence, I worked in the hotels.
