My Father George Kelly joined up under age in the transport corps for the Second World War. He was part of a group who liberated a town in Denmark the name I don鈥檛 know. He told me how wonderfully they were treated and they were given chicken in the town hall. On I think it was the 40th anniversary he put an advert in the towns paper recalling the event and received several reply鈥檚 and one of the men was coming to England and my Father met him in Brighton. He brought my Father a small oil painting that he had painted. I still have the painting it has great sentimental value, as my Father is no longer alive.
