I asked Sister Oona about the things she ate and how much food she had to eat and these are some of the things she told me:

- that they very little food
- people with farms had to share the food they got they could only keep a cetain amount so that other would not starve.
- A poplular moto was "dig for victory"
this meant that people were encouraged to produce their own food like growing vegetables etc.. As there was very little food to go around.
