This is a photo of my father with the Royal Artillery taken after Dunkirk where he was sent to Grain Island in Kent ready for the invasion. I have nine of these photo's with a group of men in Can-Can outfits ready for an army stage show then having to man the guns. I have no information about the show or to when it happened. He was sent to Gibralter after the threat was over. I would be grateful if anyone else has any of the same photo's or information regarding this incident.
