My friend Doreen Almond a wartime Wren, was invited on board ship by a naval officer. In due course he left her in his cabin while he went for a wash and brushup but did not tell her where the toilet was. She was much too shy to ask and looked round the cabin frantically,her eyes alighted on his shaving mug - need I tell you the rest!
