Hi I am writing this story to actually find out more information about my Grandad.
His name is Reginald Charles Banks, unfortunately he died a couple of months ago at the age of 83.
He was in the Comandos....... But I don't really know that much else.
I was hoping that someone on this site might of known or remember him and be able to tell me about his time in world war 2.
My Grandad never really talked about the war and could never bring himself to watch the rememberance days on the t.v as he lost a brother called Doug during the war.
I would be very grateful if you any one who rremembers anything to get back to me as I was very close to my Grandad but I feel there is a whole part of his life that I know nothing about
