I have been aware for a long time that my grandads brother fought near Singapore. i have personally read many letters which we have kept for the last 60 years from him explaining the conditions and what he did.
He was captured when the japanese moved and captured singapore. We belive he was taken to a camp in malasya and also worked on the Great Burma Railway. He eventually died from malaria. We never found where he was buried. We would appreciate to hear from anyone who knew him. I belive he served in the Royal Artillery regiment.
