I thought I'd write a note about my grandad. Although he is no longer alive it would be very interesting to know if there is anyone that remembers him or anyone whose relatives told the same story. My grandad was in a group that, according to the story that I remember, went to mainland Europe to get the Royal Family of Norway in 1940 I think. He did not make it back. He was taken and held for the next 5 years. That's the majority of what I know. The only other thing that stands out are his descriptions of the way that he was treated in the places that he was held. I'm not really sure how much is accurate of what I was told, but my memory of this is not great because at the time I was quite young.
