From my mother's side my great grandfather's wife Dora had become blind. He was an engineer for the german's but he wasn't very well paid! He had heard of a job offer and soon became a spy for the germans. One day he left for France and he was caught and held a prisoner of war. He often wrote letters in Alt-deutsch which is old german so the French couldn't understand it. 4 Years later he escaped only to find out that his wife Dora had died of brain tumors and that his two children had been sent to Austria. He soon died after that and only met his children in his last days. His son later also left to the german nazi jugend and changed his name
so that we can't trace him back.
