Veronica Ann Higginbottom

Veronica Ann Higginbottom — Daughter of Joan Rowbotham and Dennis Higginbottom.

The war was over when Veronica first saw her father.
She remembers her mother running to a man getting off a bus on Newark Rd.
This man was her father, a complete stranger to her although he had sent gifts and cards from his time in service.
