When she was a teenager coming home from work, the sirens started and everyone began running. Joyce was so frightened with the noise around her she paniced. The bombs started to fall she didn't where to run for safety, a policeman saw her distress and comforted her, unluckily he was killed by the blas and she survived.
She owes her life to an unknown policeman.
