As you will all know, this year we are celebrating 60 years since the war was declared over!
I am looking for any information on what Chester and the surrounding area was like during the end of the second world war.
I am producing a video piece on VE Day and would like to concentrate on what was happening in Chester at the time.
I would like to know about the parties, the music, the food, the atmosphere, the celebrations, I want to know as much as possible!
If any one has any information or would like to share their stories it would be most appreciated, it could even be included on the video!
