Message 1 - Arthur's story

Posted on: 08 July 2004 by anak-bandung

Hi Merlin
I am intrigued to hear more about Arthur's experiences. You say it has been written in the papers. Why don't you write it on this site as well?
I know people who have been POWs have found it very difficult to talk about it. Some just did not want to remember what had happened to them. Others wanted to tell but found people were not interested. And a lot of them are only able to talk about it now, after all those years.
Hope to read more.
Rob
