My two sisters and me were evacuated and my elder sister said we were not to be separated. So we were the last ones to be found somewhere because none wanted three children.
It was getting late at night and we were getting very tired, we came to a big house and the lady said I will try this one and a maid opened the door. It was a Lady Peeks House and she said the children look so tired I will take them for tonight, and you can find somewhere for them tomorrow. We were there for six months!
