I AM TRYING TO FIND ANY INFORMATION ON MY GRANDFATHER REGINALD BOWYER BORN 27/11/1924
SERVING IN THE ROYAL NAVY. I HAVE VERY LITTLE INFORMATION TO GO ON.
ALL I KNOW IS THAT HE JOINED IN 1942 AND WAS BASED AT CHATHAM BARRACKS. HE LEFT IN 1944.
SOME OF THE SHIPS HE SERVED ON AS A STOKER WERE HMS WALPOLE, HMS FALMOUTH AND HMS LUCIA I BELEIVE THIS WAS AT SILON IN SRI LANKA.
AND THAT IS ALL I KNOW, SO IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME OR POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. AS I HAVE SPENT HOURS ON THE NET AND AM NO FURTHER IN MY SEARCH.
