How the War Affected My Family: Life in Mold

When the war started my grandad was 13 years old. He lived in Mold . He went to the Alun High School. He had one brother that was 17 years old. He was in the Navy. The food that was rationed were butter, sugar, tea, bacon, cheese and meat. My Grandad`s job was a van driver and he was also in army. He travelled to Egypt and Palestine. The hearest bomb that was dropped to Mold was in Treuddyn.
