Jack was in the Marines from when he was 21. He was in the marines all through the war. Before the war, him and his brother both worked down the mines. When the war started, Jack wanted to stay down the mines and his brother wanted to fight, but when the call out notices came, Jack was called out to fight and his brother was told to stay!

Before the war, Jack was in Egypt, walking down a street, when he bumped into his cousin!
