This story was submitted to the People鈥檚 War site by Jabulani Chwaula from WM CSV Action Desk on behalf of Arthur Musson and has been added to the site with his permission. Arthur Musson fully understands the sites terms and conditions.

During one cold winter, the heating boilers broke down and it was freezing in the office. We decided to bring any form of portable heating we could find at home, and bring it in the next morning.
An assortment of heaters was brought in including Primus stoves, paraffin heater, valour heater, etc. These were put along the centre of the office and lit. I doubt if they raised the temperature very much but combined with wearing outdoor clothing, we managed until the necessarily repairs had been carried out. No thought of striking or staying at home.
