My uncle was waiting to be called up and was working in a munitions factory in Hereford. He was coming off shift and a German Plane saw the workers coming and dropped a bomb. It killed six - including my uncle. It was the only bomb that dropped in Hereford. The day he got killed, he received papers telling him where to call up.
