Called out to plane crash travelling south from Shetland. Appalled to find dead body of Nova Pilbeam along with other male colleagues. Called out many more times but never shocked so much again. Then sent to Middle East.

Message 1 - Nova Pilbeam

As far as I am aware, Nova Pilbeam is still living. However, her husband film director Penrose Tennyson was killed in a plane crash in Scotland on 7 July 1941.
