I lived in Wheely Castle, Birmingham, opposite Lodge Hill cemetery. As kids we used to go hunting for shrapnel to collect after the raids. Once a bomb landed on the cemetery. Next day there was a huge cry from some of the kids, 'There's bones - Quick, come and look!' of course we all went running with wide eyes. After having a good look we left them all alone. There are some things you just don't collect!
