Air Raids were very common in the war above London. Many people were so scared that they would run around in circles instead of acting at what the code said which was if you are in the middle of the street with no where to go you would have to lie down on the ground and stay still. There was even an air raid siren that would warn people of attacking planes. There were even bunkers in the London underground stations. Many parties were held there at Christmas and Halloween.
