I was being bathed in my Bath upstairs in the bathroom by my mother, who was bending over me at the time. A pice of shrapnel from a bomb which had dropped nearby, came through the window through a wall and landed on the lino in the adjacent hall. when my mother stood up, she niticed the hole in the wall was eactly at head height had she been standing at the time! My mother still has the shrapnel which is approx the size of two old pennies!
