Polish Army 1939 taken POW by Russian soldiers POW in Russian Slave Labour Camp. Very bad conditions. Winston Churchill had pact with Stalin Polish Soldiers. Released and sent to UK to train here and fight. Stefan Jaworski was sent to Scotland with other Polish soldiers. He was trained, he drove a tank during the war. He was posted to Africa/India. He took part in the D-Day landings. The Polish soldiers were placed between the British and the Canadian soldiers. He was in Europe until the war ended. Back to England, he was at Burbage & Tidworth military bases. He was de-mobbed in 1948.
