I remember evacuees came to live next door, they were from London. They were very nice there were 2 little girls, I was about 10 or 12 years old. 5 doors away there was a little elad who was 12 years old his name was Tommy. They didn鈥檛 want to go back, some of their families didn鈥檛 even come and visit them and they used to cry.
