Walking over the Lickey Hills, Birmingham, on a moonlit evening, I looked across the hills and saw Coventry blitzed. That evening we saw a German bomber coming down as the anti aircraft guns blazed the skies. We were told later that the Bomber came down on Stratford upon Avon with a crew of five, and all were killed.
