I used to go home from school, for lunch. Often, when the siren went, I used to run over the railway bridge hugging the wall, as the bombers used to aim for the walls.
One Saturday evening we were sitting at home in the kitchen with my Grandmother, who was fortune telling, when we heard a terrible noise like a train going over head. We all dived under the kitchen table. We later discovered a rocket had fallen on the other side of the main road leaving several house completely demolished; killing the families that lived in them.
