F. Larcombe Devon.
Worked at Axminster Carpets after leaving school until I was conscripted in 1944 and joined The royal Army Service Corp (Transport) and trained as a driver. I went to Normandy in October ’44 and at the end of the war I was employed clearing bomb rubble at Hanover. I stayed in Germany until 1947.
