This photograph shows four sailors - One of whom is my Father 鈥� Bert Hunt.

It was taken on the 9th April, 1945 and has been printed on to a postcard which reads 鈥淲ith love from Bert鈥�.

This photograph was submitted to the People鈥檚 War site by Becky Barugh of the 大象传媒 Radio Shropshire CSV Action Desk on behalf of Avril Gallop who very kindly shared it with us. It has been added to the site with Mrs Gallop鈥檚 permission and she fully understands the site's terms and conditions.
