WE were married in uniform Dearest Mia in her W.A.A.F. uniform and I was in my Naval uniform.
We could`nt arrange to have a honeymoon as I did`nt know whether I could come home as I was out in the North Atlantic the week before.
So we decided to go down by bus to Abergynolwyn. Mia came from outside Caernarvon So when she was not on my arm I looked around for her.
There she was standing to attention between aMale and aW.A.A.F. Seargants, and I went over, What seems to the trouble Seargant
and he said 2We are booking ths Airwoman for wearing silk stockings instead of the Lisle ones. Hang on Searge what do you expect her to wear on her wedding day!!
And the Book dissappeared and they shook us by the sdhand and wished us well
