German U-Boat

This was first brought up the Thames to Westminster Pier, but at low water it was found that the "poor thing" could not rest, the water not being deep enough, so the Port of London took into this nice berth in London Dock. Thousands of people paid a visit to it. They had to wait 4 or 5 hours if they wanted to go over it. They are seen going over the gangway on the right and went underneath and came up where the boy is on the left. If you only wanted to see the outside as I did one had no trouble. I went round it.
