my granda served on hms kipling during the second world war. I would often ask him about what it was like but he would never tell. the only thing he told me was that he left the navy and that a month later his ship was destroyed by german stukas. he was involved in the rescue of hms kelly. i am very proud of my grandad even till this very day.unfortunetly he never got to tell me about his life in royal navy as he died two years a go and will never be forgotten.if anyone knew him or has any information on HMS KIPLING please get in touch i would like to know more about his carear in the navy during ww2.
