i remember when i was about 8 years old and i lived in Boddam, and just about every night the Convoys came up the Coast just after dark, And us being young boy's at the time, we uesed to get all excited because we knew what was going to happen with the Bomber's pounding the Convoy, This night i did not get out to play and was sitting on the window sill at the high building called Dodlies and it was a moonlight night and the Convoys were getting hammerd, And the moon was shining on the water, And there was a Nunery on the Clif top, and i saw a Canoe and three men came of the Canoe and went up into the Nunery and i told my Mother about it and she told the Police and they went over to investigate but they said no one landed here on a Canoe, But i saw them clearly, The rumour got around that they must have been Spies, so that is my story, Maybe someone else remember's that night, Your's loonyjamesie
