During the blitz some bombs dropped and did not explode. They were dug from the ground by the RE's and taken on a truck to near by Regets Park to be left to explode. On Maryboen road one such bomb exploded destroying the truck and killing all of the crew. These men were blowen to pieces and their remains were scattered all other the road. A frighting experience for young children.
