My father broadcast for the 大象传媒 Home Service at Bush House. He also wrote propaganda that was dropped over Germany and Occupied France. He was in Bush House when the V2 was dropped in Aldwych not far from him. Because of the propaganda my father wrote he was on Hitler's kill list, if the Germans occupied Britain.
He also had some original scripts of Winston Churchill's speeches, but unfortunately they got destroyed as our own house was burnt down.
I remember living in West Hanningfield, Essex in the late 50s and my friends and I had found this big thing the woods and started banging it with hammers. My dad came along and told us that it was an incendiary bomb!
