M J Tulip, VAD nurse, at Fenham Barracks, Newcastle, with men evacuated from Dunkirk

Here is the photograph mentioned in my account of life as a VAD nurse, showing men who had come back from Dunkirk, being looked after by us (I am in the middle) at the military hospital in Newcastle. I am afraid it is rather blurry, but I think you can make out the wheelchair of the soldier on the left.
