We lived near the Drill Hall (where the soldiers met) in Nureaton Warwickshire near Coventry. My father used to provide snacks and a 鈥渟ing song鈥� around the piano for them one night my sister was passing a soldier on guard Duty he shouted 鈥淗alt who goes there?鈥� she said 鈥� it鈥檚 me I have been here before. I live here.鈥� This has caused much amusement through the years.
