I remember when the atomic bomb was dropped.
We heard it on the radio.
My dad was home at the time, eating his dinner.
When dad heard the news he said 'good'.
That is how everyone felt.
The war though was our life.
It would have been funny to have gone to school without a gas mask and your name on you.
